I believe that assistive technologies is essential to use for students who have special needs.  This will make things easier for them to learn and even be a part of the classroom.  These students may also feel more included in the learning process if a classroom can offer technologies to suit their needs. 

I know assistive technology will affect me in the classroom because if a student has a disability, i want that student to be able to be as normal as possible. Assistive Technology is great and should be used if necessary all the time, so students can learn to the best of their ability.

Special Education

I know assistive technologies would be used in my classroom a great deal of the time. I am a special ed. major and I feel like teachers should not be intimidated by the devices that children have to use. All teachers should educate themselves on the different technologies that they will need in the classroom as well as the devices that their students will use in the classroom. Assistive technologies are great because they help students grow to their full potential.
